On Thursday 6th June an excited group of Grade 5's together with their class teacher and Mrs Regaud arrived at Manor Gardens Primary School, to listen to Chris Bradford, author of the popular Samurai Series books. What an enthralling hour we had. Chris, dressed in full Samurai costume explained and demonstrated to us the life and training of Samurai soldiers and the use of the sword. I think there were many in the audience who at times had sweaty palms as Chris demonstrated the various techniques.
