Books to Africa
Mrs Regaud and the Grade 5's have been busy this year corresponding and assisting with the librarian, Mrs Hembree from Bell Elementary Primary School in USA, with her dream of "Books to Africa". Mrs Hembree's dream was to send picture books to much needed organisations in Africa. Eden College received 4 such boxes of books and these have been distributed to local organisations.

HOB = Hooked on Books
Once again the pupils and staff alike were entertained by the fabulous cast of HOB on Thursday 25th April. Much fun and laughter could be heard coming from the hall, especially when some pupils displayed their acting talents along with the cast. The favourite book from the show was "Tusk".

Tribute to William Shakespeare
On Wednesday 24th April, Grade 3L paid a wonderful tribute to William Shakespeare during our assembly time. Not only did they tell us about Shakespeare's life story and the wonderful plays he wrote but they also managed to rehearse some of his well known lines. Well done, Grade 3L, you did us proud!
“Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble!”
Karuna, Aruhi and Treya, the three witches from McBeth.

On 23rd April, pupils at Eden College celebrated World Book Day by coming to school dressed as their favourite book character. What a bright and colorful day, as we all got to meet some of these wonderful characters. From the mischievious One Thing, Two Thing and Cat in the Hat to the beautiful classics of Alice in Wonderland and Tom Sawyer. Thank you to all the parents and children who made this such a wonderful book day celebration.
